One of the happiest songs ever written, although it opens with the words "Summer's gone". "Wake Up Boo!" is a call of arms to wake up and meet a new beautiful day, with horns a-plenty, a jingling sixties-style guitar, and summery vocal harmonies galore. I don't know how the weather is where you are right now, but at the time of writing it's grey and dull in Oslo. That does not matter much when you hear this song. The Boo Radleys, named after a fictional character from Harper Lee's brilliant novel To Kill A Mockingbird, can make the sun shine wherever and whenever this song is played. It's actually one of the best pop songs of the nineties in my opinion. I never tire of it!
