Linda Ronstadt - Rock Me On The Water

Linda Ronstadt is one of the best female singers of her generation, and a fabulous interpreter of other songwriters' material. She did this wonderful take on Jackson Browne's "Rock Me On The Water" for her third solo album, simply titled Linda Ronstadt, in 1971. It's a great country rock album, but fame was still lying in wait for her, as it stalled at a weak number 163 on the Billboard album chart.
