Fine Young Cannibals - Good Thing

This fabulous track bothered me a great deal in its time when it was featured in the 1987 comedy Tin Men featuring Richard Dreyfuss and Danny DeVito, as well as Fine Young Cannibals who performed it in the movie. But it was nowhere near a record until almost two years later when the band's second album The Raw & The Cooked was released. To blend rightfully into the movie that's set in Baltimore in 1963, the song is very consistent with the time and setting, a retro-soul number that actually uses the same chord progression as The Castaways' 1965 hit "Liar, Liar". But it's first and foremost an incredibly catchy pop song. Have fun!
