Look how young they were! The Cure, fronted by Robert Smith with bassist Michael Dempsey and drummer Lol Tolhurst, were all 20 years old upon the release of their second single in 1979. "Boys Don't Cry" is still an amazing pop song, about the rejected narrator's denial. Boys don't cry... Right!
