Robbie Robertson - Somewhere Down The Crazy River

Happy birthday to Robbie Robertson who turns 68 today! The former The Band songwriter and guitarist waited for a decade after the split before releasing his eponymous solo debut in 1987, featuring this little gem, "Somewhere Down The Crazy River". The album was produced by Daniel Lanois and Robertson himself, and featured guest appearances from Peter Gabriel, Maria McKee, U2, BoDeans, former The Band colleagues Rick Danko and Garth Hudson and several other great musicians. "Somewhere Down The Crazy River" is without a second's hesitation my favourite song off the album, and the video featured a wet dream for some of us boys, where Robertson makes out with Maria McKee.
