Bill Haley & His Comets - (We're Gonna) Rock Around The Clock

Let's salute Bill Haley who would've been 86 today if he had lived. One of rock music's most famous and influential songs, "Rock Around The Clock" was made famous by Bill Haley & His Comets although Sonny Dae and His Knights were the first to record it, in March 1954. Haley's recording took place in April. It was actually written two years earlier, by Max C. Freedman and James E. Myers under the pseudonym Jimmy De Knight. Fabulous song!
