Guns N' Roses - Paradise City

They came like a whirlwind and conquered the charts all over the world with the Appetite For Destruction album in 1987, from which "Paradise City" is taken. Their best song? Could be. The line "take me down to the Paradise City, where the grass is green and the girls are pretty" has anthemic qualities, and is sure to get any party and any crowd going. After a few years of unhealthy "rock behaviour" Guns N' Roses basically imploded, helped along by singer Axl Rose's monstrous ego. Too bad, but boy, they were great!
