"Our Last Summer" is one of my favourite ABBA songs, taken from their 1980 album Super Trouper. It was written by Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson, and was inspired by a romance Ulvaeus had in Paris as a teenager. It's a lovely song, a great lyric, and it's also one of Annifrid Lyngstad's strongest vocal performances. She basically sings the hell out of the song (if that's the right expression to use for this kind of family friendly pop music), and leaves you almost in tears.
