Joy Division - Love Will Tear Us Apart

Joy Division singer Ian Curtis would have been 55 today if he hadn't commited suicide at the early age of 23. His influence and legacy is enormous though, something the single "Love Will Tear Us Apart" clearly shows. It was released in April 1980, a month before the suicide, thus becoming the band's first chart hit. A true classic!
