Linda Ronstadt - Poor Poor Pitiful Me

Happy birthday to the gorgeous Linda Ronstadt who turns 65 today. She's one of America's best singers and interpreters of great songs, such as this classic Warren Zevon track. Zevon recorded it for his self-titled 1976 album, and Ronstadt picked up both "Poor Poor Pitiful Me" and "Carmelita" from that album for her own record Simple Dreams (1977), undoubtedly one of her best. This incredible version of a song that was perfect to begin with is testament to that, I'd say.
