Ahhhh... The Cure. In the 80's they could do no wrong! The 1984 single "The Caterpillar" preceded the decidedly underrated album The Top that for some strange reason has got a really bad standing amongst a lot of people who claim to "know" The Cure. Although it's largely to be regarded as a Robert Smith solo album given that the band was in complete disarray at the time, the album has some amazing songs on it.
