Welcome back, Mazzy Star!

Mazzy Star, the duo of Hope Sandoval and David Roback, has returned with two new songs available for online purchase. It's their first newly recorded music in 15 years, and as always it's beautiful atmospheric stuff. The song "Common Burn" is standard Mazzy Star, whereas the other song called "Lay Myself Down" is a sweet little country tune, but just as good. The pair is supposedly working on a new album for a 2012 release. Both of the new songs are for sale at iTunes or other online stores, and you can hear them here:
