The second single off Nick Cave's 1996 Murder Ballads album after the immensely successful Kylie Minogue duet "Where The Wild Roses Grow", "Henry Lee", Cave's take on an old traditional song with roots back to the 18th century, was another duet, with then-girlfriend PJ Harvey. It's as ghostly and eerie as anything Cave has done, a great performance from a somewhat undervalued album. Murder Ballads received a mixed response, but I for one immediately took to it, and I still think it's an amazing - and quite unpleasant - album.
