Everything But The Girl - Cross My Heart

You can go almost anyplace in the Everything But The Girl catalogue and stumble upon something great. Third album Baby The Stars Shine Bright (1986) is full of excellent songs, such as the sweet, string-swept ballad "Cross My Heart". Utterly beautiful, not least because of Tracey Thorn's fab voice.
