China Crisis - Wishful Thinking

Ah, the 80's! What a glorious decade it was musically, at least the first half of it. Liverpudlians China Crisis played a sort of carefree synth-influenced pop music, and "Wishful Thinking" is my favourite CC song. It has a classic, pastoral feel akin to something by The Dream Academy or The Lilac Time, that just makes you long for beautiful summer days in the country. It was their only Top 10 hit and was released in 1983.
