Bruce Springsteen has announced that there will be a new E Street Band album released in 2012, and a world tour to run from the middle of May through to the end of July. The new album is nearly finished, but yet untitled, and will be the first newly recorded Springsteen material to be released since 2009's Working On A Dream. That album was the last to feature the work of founding E Street Band members Danny Federici (who died in April 2008) and Clarence Clemons (who passed in June of this year).
The first four dates of the world tour was announced today, and more will follow on the band's website.
