Everything But The Girl - On My Mind

Pillows & Prayers was a compilation album released for Christmas in 1982 by the independent label Cherry Red Records. It was sold at only 99 pence, and featured 17 tracks by the label's acts, such as The Monochrome Set, Thomas Leer, Felt, Eyeless In Gaza and of course the ones that became famous, Tracey Thorn and Ben Watt of Everything But The Girl. They were represented by one solo song each, Tracey also with one track with her girl group Marine Girls, and finally "On My Mind" which was their first released recording as Everything But The Girl. The rest is of course history.
