Foreigner are among the spearheads of what was known as the radio format AOR (Album-Oriented Rock), which today is rather labelled Classic Rock. The British-American rock band enjoyed huge success with (among other albums) their 1981 album 4, where "Urgent" is one of the stand-out tracks. It features guest appearances in the guise of a sax solo by legendary Motown act Junior Walker, and the signature synth sound as played by Thomas Dolby. But first and last it's an amazingly catchy song, especially due to Mick Jones's extraordinarily cool guitar. This is in every sense classic rock.
