Hall & Oates - I Can't Go For That (No Can Do)

"I Can't Go For That (No Can Do)" became Hall & Oates' fourth American number one single when it was released in 1981. Heavily rooted in - or actually part of -  the Philadephia soul of the early 1970's, the music of Daryl Hall and John Oates became more and more pop-oriented as their career gained speed, and it sure didn't hurt them. This is just one of many memorable songs though. Every home needs at least a good Hall & Oates compilation.
