Tinariwen team up with TV On The Radio and members of Dirty Dozen Brass Band and Wilco for new album

Tassili is the title of the forthcoming Tinariwen album (August 30th). The highly popular and critically acclaimed desert blues band of Malian Touaregs has enlisted some very interesting helpers for the album, notably Tunde Adebimpe and Kyp Malone of New York art rockers TV On The Radio, the wonderful Wilco guitarist Nels Cline and the horn section of The Dirty Dozen Brass Band. While we wait for the whole shebang we can enjoy the video of the song "Tenere Taqqim Tossam" featuring the TV On The Radio guys. The video is breathtaking, shot on location in the Mali desert.
