Marius Müller - Carmen

Marius Müller was a Norwegian guitar player, singer and songwriter who sadly died in 1999, only 40 years old. He was a masterful musician and a nice guy, and "Carmen" off his 1983 album Marius is one of his best songs. The guitar playing on this track strongly resembles Mark Knopfler, and although he was very good at emulating Jimi Hendrix as well, there was never any doubt that he was a musicians' musician, a great guitarist in his own right. This song is simply gorgeous, mysteriously it was never a hit.
