ABC - When Smokey Sings

The general consensus is that the British new romantic group ABC only released one worthwhile album, the 1982 debut The Lexicon Of Love. That may be so, but they continued to release some great singles from time to time, espcially this tribute to one of the world's greatest singers, Smokey Robinson. "When Smokey Sings" is a fantastic pop song, and I'm sure Smokey was proud when this was a hit in 1987 and appeared on ABC's fourth album, Alphabet City.
