Josh Rouse - My Love Has Gone

Nebraskan Josh Rouse is one of the greatest singer/songwriters of the 21st century, writing and performing excellent pop music in a decidedly old-fashioned vein, even naming one of his albums 1972. "My Love Has Gone" however is from the fabulous follow-up album Nashville (2005). Although featuring a bit of pedal steel it's not a country album, more a hybrid of pop and country in extremely good taste, melancholy and really catchy if you're in the right frame of mind.
