"It's Still Rock & Roll To Me" is Billy Joel's 1980 commentary on the changing of the music business as evidenced by new musical styles. It's a refusal to change and a statement that his music will remain rock'n'roll no matter what you call it. Some people might dispute that. But hey, it's a great song, coupling old time 50's rock'n'roll with late 70's new wave. It's lifted from the successful Glass Houses album and was a number one hit for two weeks in USA.
