Jimmy Webb - P.F. Sloan

P.F. Sloan is an American singer/songwriter, who has written and produced songs for Barry Maguire, Jan & Dean, Johnny Rivers, The Mamas & The Papas and many more, and who's also had a separate recording career with limited success. Another songwriter and performing artist, the great Jimmy Webb, famous for "Wichita Lineman", "By The Time I Get To Phoenix" and many more, wrote a song about Sloan, entitled simply "P.F. Sloan". It's a beautiful, bittersweet little thing and appeared on his 1970 album Words And Music.
