Talk Talk - Living In Another World

Mysteriously, "Living In Another World" was not a big hit. After the success of the It's My Life album in 1984, Mark Hollis and his band Talk Talk went a tiny bit weirder with follow-up album The Colour Of Spring in 1986. The bigger public just didn't respond to the newish direction the band was taking, and this of course would be Talk Talk's last "normal" album. Although many people prefer their two last introverted albums to this one, my money for best Talk Talk album of all time is on The Colour Of Spring. "Living In Another World" is just one of many great tracks here, and it's an interesting album because it forms a bridge between "straight Talk Talk" and "everything but straight Talk Talk". Love it, love it, love it!
