Echo & The Bunnymen - Rescue

Liverpudlians Echo & The Bunnymen made their album debut in 1980 with the mighty Crocodiles. Of the ten excellent songs here, "Rescue" may be the most well-known and also my definitive favourite. Ian McCulloch's ("Mac") repetitive chanting of the line "is this the blues I'm singing?" towards the end of the song is a defining moment in the Bunnymen canon. Here's a live version from Royal Albert Hall recorded in 1983.
