U2 - Another Time Another Place

Sometimes it's the first album you hear with a band that stays with you the most. U2 have released milestones such as War, The Joshua Tree and Achtung Baby, but I will always return to the far more primitive but still wildly ambitious debut album Boy, released in 1980. There was a pureness to them in these early days that was lost along their way to world domination, and I'll always cherish that. "Another Time Another Place" is probably my favourite song on Boy, a genuinely well-crafted song with all the U2 hallmarks of its time firmly in place.
