Ry Cooder's version of "Little Sister", a song originally cut by Elvis Presley in 1961 and written by Doc Pomus and Mort Shuman, opened his fantastic Bop Till You Drop album (1979), which was actually the first major-label digitally recorded pop album. But although the sound of the album is excellent it's the songs and the performances that really makes it an experience. One of Cooder's most successful albums and a true classic.
