"Free World" is a classic Kirsty MacColl single from her 1989 album Kite ridiculing the reign of then British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. It's a highly sarcastic song wrapped in an irresistable melody, featuring the fabulous guitar work of former The Smiths maestro Johnny Marr. It sounds as good now as it did back then.
