Bonnie Raitt readies first album in seven years

Finally a new Bonnie Raitt album will see the light of day. Slipstream will be released on April 10th, and is her first album of new material since 2005's Souls Alike. In addition to several new Raitt compositions, the album will include a handful of covers, namely Bob Dylan's "Million Miles" and "Standing In The Doorway", Loudon Wainwright III's "You Can't Fail Me Now", and a reggae cover of Gerry Rafferty's "Right Down The Line".
