The Assembly - Never Never

Happy birthday to Vince Clarke who's 51 today! After his success with Depeche Mode and Yazoo, Clarke teamed up with Eric Radcliffe (who gave name to the Yazoo album Upstairs At Eric's) for The Assembly, where they should work with different artists for different purposes and intents under this name. They produced only one single as The Assembly, featuring the vocals of former Undertones singer Feargal Sharkey, and that's the hauntingly beautiful "Never Never" (1983).
