Composed and produced by Brian Wilson and with added lyrical help from Mike Love, this was pop music as advanced as it could get in October 1966 upon its release. Wilson's publicist Derek Wilson called the song a "pocket symphony" and he wasn't far off the mark. Listen for yourself, and be stunned by the complexity of it all.
