Randy Newman - Dixie Flyer

"Dixie Flyer" is the opening track of Randy Newman's 1988 album Land Of Dreams, an autobiographical song that is a musical journey from Louisiana to Los Angeles, i.e. the "land of dreams" that the album title refers to. It's a beautiful song from what is a very fine album.
