June Carter Cash died in 2003, and in 2007 her memory was honored with the tribute album Anchored In Love, featuring a host of great artists performing songs associated with her. "Jackson", a duet June and her second husband Johnny Cash recorded in 1967, was performed with gusto by her daughter Carlene Carter (from her first marriage to Carl Smith) and Ronnie Dunn. The song was written by Jerry Leiber and Billy Edd Wheeler in 1963 and first performed by The Kingston Trio. I've never heard their version, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't kick ass like Carlene and Dunn's version does. This is great!
