Anne Grete Preus is a famous Norwegian singer/songwriter, and before she embarked on her solo career in 1988, she fronted the rock bands Veslefrikk and Can Can. The latter's debut album En lek i forhold (1984) is a kind of Norwegian post punk classic, featuring a few memorable songs. Among them "Oppenheimer" is my favourite, an up-tempo and energetic song about the father of the atomic bomb. It was released as a double A side single with "Tango" on the flip side. A special mention here goes to Jørn Christensen's fabulous guitar playing.
