Eric Clapton - My Father's Eyes

Written and recorded for his 1998 album Pilgrim, "My Father's Eyes" is one of my favourite Eric Clapton songs. It's obviously an incredibly personal song for Clapton as it deals with him never meeting his own father, and also the death of his son Conor who died falling from an apartment window at the age of four. The song was a big hit and won Clapton a well deserved Grammy award, and it sounds stunning. This is Clapton at his absolute best.
