Nanci Griffith - Lone Star State Of Mind

The title track from Nanci Griffith's fifth album is one of my favourites of hers. It was written by Pat Alger, Fred Koller and Gene Levine) and is a musing on what it's like to miss your home, in this case Texas - the Lone Star state - when you're sitting in Denver. Lone Star State Of Mind was Nanci's first major label record, released in 1987.
