A few weeks ago I posted a song by the Swedish artist Monty - or Montt Mardié as he used to call himself. His real name is actually David Pagmar, and he's a very talented songwriter, with a God-given voice that's truly mesmerizing. Not only does he write some really good songs, but he's also translating and rearranging other people's songs, and you may remember his great version of Rihanna's "Umbrella", renamed "Paraply". From the same EP comes this Peter Gabriel cover, a Swedish language version of the fantastic "Solsbury Hill" from Gabriel's first solo album, now titled "Saltarö Berg". It's really, really good, lifted from the five track Direkt til svenska EP (2009).
Watch and listen
