Ben E. King - Stand By Me

One very beautiful song. Ben E. King wrote and recorded "Stand By Me" in late 1960 and released it the following year when it became a huge hit single. In 1986 it was used as the theme song for the similarly titled movie Stand By Me featuring River Phoenix, and was a major worldwide hit once again, helped also by a commercial for Levis's Jeans in 1987 where it was featured.
