Bran Van 3000 feat. Curtis Mayfield - Astounded

The Montreal musical collective Bran Van 3000 is mostly remembered for their hit single "Drinking In L.A.", but "Astounded" (2001) from their second album Discosis is a lot better. The main reason for this may be the presence of the late great Curtis Mayfield who contributed the vocals to this track shortly before his death in 1999, mostly based on what is probably his most famous song, "Move On Up". Nevertheless it's a great disco/dance track in itself - with or without the help of Curtis - and extremely danceable. The album version is two minutes longer and better than this single edit, but without all the passionate kissing of the video. Your choice...
