Terry Hall - Ballad Of A Landlord

We're starting off this lovely Saturday with a really pretty ballad, Terry Hall's "Ballad Of A Landlord" from his 1997 solo album Laugh. The former singer of The Specials, Fun Boy Three and The Colourfield, Coventry singer Hall doesn't exactly flood the airwaves with new music. His different projects are few and far between, and it's now been eight years since his last record. He's one of the artists I know of with the keenest ear for melancholy pop music, and "Ballad Of A Landlord" is certainly no exception.
