New Peter Gabriel album in the works

New Blood is the title of Peter Gabriel's current tour, and it's also the title of his forthcoming new album, supposedly a studio album featuring orchestral versions of 12 songs from throughout his career. It's a continuation of the Scratch My Back album from last year where he did orchestral cover versions of 12 songs written by Lou Reed, Bon Iver, Neil Young and more. This time around it's his own songs that will be rearranged just like on the New Blood tour. According to Wikipedia the album will consist of these 12 songs:

2. In Your Eyes
3. Mercy Street
4. The Nest That Sailed the Sky
5. Lead a Normal Life
6. Red Rain
7. The Rhythm of the Heat
8. San Jacinto
9. Signal to Noise
10. Solsbury Hill
11. Wallflower
12. Washing of the Water

There will also be a New Blood DVD released. More info to follow when I get it.
