Steve Earle - Guitar Town

Steve Earle's debut album Guitar Town basically attacked me and turned every notion I had of what country music could be around when it was released in 1986. The opening track, also called "Guitar Town" is one of the rockier tracks, a two and a half minute long statement of intent that immediately made Earle a star. The fall was long and hard, turning him into a hardened drug addict, but thankfully he's risen and continues to make brilliant music.
