Alison Krauss & The Union Station - When You Say Nothing At All

The most famous version of this song written by Don Schlitz and Paul Overstreet belongs to Ronan Keating who recorded it for the successful film Notting Hill in 1999. Keith Whitley first had a huge country hit with the song in 1988, and this wonderful Alison Krauss version is from 1995. I love the song dearly, all three versions, but Alison's might be the best. It's her voice, you know. Alison Krauss has the voice of an angel, and that's just not up for discussion!
