Gallagher & Lyle - Song And Dance Man

Scottish singer/songwriters Benny Gallagher and Graham Lyle were, among other things, original members of McGuinness Flint, before starting on a mildly successful career as duo Gallagher & Lyle in 1972. Their big break came with the Breakaway album in 1976, but to me their loveliest song is "Song And Dance Man" from their 1974 The Last Cowboy album. This is simply genius songwriting!
