Richard Hawley - Hotel Room

This may be the most beautiful ballad of the 21st century. I'm not saying it is, just that it might be. Have a listen yourself and see if the surf guitar solo starting at about 1:08 doesn't just get to you, and if it doesn't, wait for Hawley's voice going for the break at 1:40. If Santo & Johnny of "Sleepwalk" fame were still recording, with vocals at that, they would sound like this. Absolutely stunningly wonderfully mesmerizingly... you get the picture.
