Taylor Swift - Tim McGraw

Although Tim McGraw is a major American country star in his own right, this song off teen idol Taylor Swift's eponymous 2006 debut album can't have hurt him much. It's by far - in my humble opinion - Taylor's greatest achievement, a perfect country song if there ever was one. The use of Tim McGraw as a picture of a lost relationship is pure genius and the song is in itself truly beautiful. It's a bit sad that Taylor Swift hasn't pushed this side of her songwriting abilities further, but I have to say she still charms me with her songs. Still, she's never been as good as this!
