The Doors - Riders On The Storm

It's hard to pinpoint a single song as The Doors' most atmospheric, but if there were a list of such songs, "Riders On The Storm" would fight for the top position. Released as a single shortly before Jim Morrison died, it entered the Billboard Hot 100 on the day of his death, July 3rd, 1971, and also of course featured on the L.A. Woman album. Another stone cold classic for you there then.
