"Sinaloa Cowboys" tells the story of two poor Mexican brothers, seeking their fortune in California, to no avail. When they start the dangerous work of cooking methamphetamine for the Sinaloa cartel instead of working the fruit orchards, it ends, predictably, in tragedy. The song was written by Bruce Springsteen for his 1995 album The Ghost Of Tom Joad, and was spruced up with a Mexican-sounding arrangement by alt.rock band Cracker for their 2003 album Countrysides. I prefer this version by miles.
